This is a place full of beautiful flowers (depending on the season)--extraterrestrial botanists like E. T. would agree! Delgado botany students even come here to study the flora. To find the box, go to Diboll circle in City Park. If you can, park in the Visitors Parking at the City Park office building. The clue starts from that vantage point.

Between the train tracks and the flowers (which are sometimes growing) there is a white communications pole. Go to it. E.T. would be able to rig a telephone from this device! Face the flowers (if they're there, if not put your back to the tracks and walk in a perpendicular line). Take 26 steps. Ignore the topless cypress in front of you. Turn left! Go to that cypress tree. There is a secret little hole where the box is hidden underneath some cypress leaves. Be careful---it's not in the really deep hole on the left.

Beware of thorns, spiders and LOTS of muggles (depending on the time of year and whether or not there is an event going on).

Bring a picnic basket and enjoy the flowers if you're lucky enough to come when they're blooming.

Happy Letterboxing!
