What A View !!
Make your way to the corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road.
Go north on Lake Pleasant Parkway and turn left on Jomax Rd, approximately l mile ahead. Turn right on 99th Ave. There is a parking lot on the left. Pull in.
Follow the trail up the mountain to the top. When the trail looks like it comes to an end, and you can see off to the north and south, stop. What a panoramic view this is!!
Enjoy the experience and breathe deeply. You may see a hot air balloon or 5 or 6, or even hang gliders that you feel like you can reach out and climb aboard. It will take your breath away.
There is a cactus about 3 foot long growing sideways out of the rocks on the left side of the trail. Below the cactus and a little to the right are 3 fairly good size rocks. You will find the letterbox in the center of these 3 rocks, hidden by a few smaller rocks.
When you have finished with your stamping and recording your information, please put the letterbox back together and place it back where you found it and make sure it’s covered so no one can see it.
Be cautious!! Watch out for dangerous desert critters!!!! Let us know if you find it and/or if it needs attention or is missing. www.sundevilmandl@cox.net Also, record your find at www.letterboxing.org or at www.atlasquest.com. ENJOY!!!!
