Best thing to do is go to www.historicschools.org and print map for driving routes. Boxes below are numbered as in brochure map and town is given.

#2 - Wrede School - Fredericksburg off Hwy 16 (could not find the actual school, so box for now is in Lady Bird Johnson park just down street. Park on left by nature trail and walk left past butterfly area and bird blind. Continue into trees and soon you will read some wood poles with cable in them. Go to pole farthest to the left of trail. Box on back side base under rock pile. **** Box Reported Missing
#3 Meusebach Creek School - Meusenbach - Off Hwy 87, left on Muesenbach creek road, then left on small side road to School. Park at front. go right to and around to back corner near drain pipe. Box in hole under porch, below drain pipe, behind bricks and under a rock pile.
#4 Grapetown School - Grapetown - Off Old San Antonio Rd, on left just after grapetown road intersection. Turn left and park in front of school on left. Walk to back and find smallest stone building. Go to opening. Look in and to the left corner about mid way up. Cavity with loose rock in it. Box is behind that loose rock.
#5 Luckenbach School - Luckenbach - Off FM1376, east on Luckenbach rd. School on left. Park in front outside gate. Go through gate on right side and approach the right building. Go to right front corner. Box is a little left of the corner, on the ground behind a bush and under a flat rock.
#6 Lower South Grape Creek School - Blumenthal - Off Hwy 290 east of Blumenthal (historical Marker). Walk through gate. Go to swingset to left of building. Find oak tree left of that with huge opening in front. Box is on right side of opening, covered with stuff.

#7 Williams Creek School - Albert - Off FM 1623 just past Lover Albert road, on left. Park in front of gate (can not enter). Go to Historical Marker. Go left to fence corner, go around and follow fence to first tree inside fence. Box is at far side base under rock (reach through fence). **** Box Reported Missing
#8 - Junction School - Stonewall - Off Hwy 290, From LBJ park, go left on Hwy 1 to Park Road that goes left over the river (this is also Klein Rd). School is at junction of next intersection. Park in front. Walk to back door, then continue on to restrooms. Go behind and find double tree. Box at base under rick pile.
#9 - Nebgen School - Nebgen - From Hwy 290, go north on FM 1623 to FM 2721. Turn right and go to North Grape Creek Road and turn left. Go about 3 or 4 miles to turn in on right and take that up to school gate. Park at gate (can not enter). Walk right along fence about 30 yards to large cedar tree on inside of fence. Box is about 3 feet high in crotch of tree with rocks around it.
#10 - Rheingold School - Rheingold - South of FM 1631 on N. Grape Creek road to T-junction. Turn left and go to curve to right and take it and follow road up to school. Park in front. Walk behind school, past restrooms, past cedars, to large oak tree on right. Box at back base under rocks.
#11 - Cave Creek School - Cave Creek - Off of FM 1631, go south on Cave Creek Rd a few miles to turn in on right for school. Pull up drive to front of school. Walk to back of school, then continue past telephone pole to your left, on to large oak tree at edge of grass. Box at right base under rock pile.
#12 - Willow City School - Willow City - Off Hwy 16 at Eckert, turn east on FM 1323 and go 3 miles to Willow City. Just before little town, school is on left. Park at gate (can not enter). Walk along fence to your left for about 50 yards to large tree. Box on back side under a rock pile.
#13 - Crabapple School - Crabapple - On lower crabapple road, on south side near FM 965. Park in front of gate. Walk through and go to back near steel building. Go right to big oak tree with poles next to it. Go left to Huge oak tree near fence. Box on left side in cavity at base under rocks.
#14 - Cherry Spring School - Cherry Spring - Off FM 2323 on west side just south of Keese rd. Turn in and park in front of school. Walk behind. Pass oak trees and go to far side of long structure with metal roof. Go on to tree nearer fence with 2 trunks and 3rd that has table top. Box at back base under rocks. *** Reported Missing
#15 - Pecan Creek School - Pecan Creek - On right off Pecan creek road. Park in front of gate (Can not enter). Walk to gate, then left along fend until reach outhouse on inside of fence. Go to oak tree on left. Box at back base under big rock.
#16 - Cherry Mountain School - Cherry Mountain - Off Hwy 87 on Cherry Mountain Loop. Pull in and park in front of school. Go left past the wooden building to back and on to outhouse at fence line.. Box is to right of that behind oak tree and under rock pile.
