After ANOTHER report that Box #2 has been destroyed, I have fought the critters for the LAST time- They won!!! I have now included the stamp for Box #2 Inside box#1- so both stamps are in one box- clues and logbook are updated to reflect this.

****** 4/4/17 Box # 1 in good shape, Box #2 I have repaired- this is my 2nd repair, the critters seem to LOVE this one- PLEASE, secure bags and lid tightly and leave where it is placed- IF you find it needs repair again (I have found it twice scattered a few feet from where it is planted) please let me know- Thanks!!!

*NOTE: This Letterbox now has 2 Stamps inside- you do NOT need to find box #2, the stamp is inside box #1.
**If you have them, bring colored markers or inkpads, Blues and Black.

Once you find your starting point, park at the three red diamonds and make your way to the trail head map, you will be heading NW, following the creek on your Left. Ignoring the green sign with the arrow on the Right, continue forward passing the “B” on your Left. Ignoring another side trail on your Right, continue following the stream. At the Y, take the path at 30 degrees, passing the 5th letter of the alphabet. Again ignoring side trails, continue North until you come to a T, do the opposite of Right, and continue on. You should see a seven limbed tree on your Left, while it looks like a good hiding spot, continue on! As you are heading North, you will pass the “G” on the Right and then come to another decision, ignore the sign with the arrow and continue straight. Passing “I” on your Right and a marshy area on your Left. You will pass the “Iron Wood”, continuing on deeper into the woods. Passing an old rotted stump on the Left, and then a large broken V on your Right, another marshy area, and then a “K”. After a large fallen one, the path takes a slight turn to the Right. Up ahead you see an exit, STOP at the sign and this time follow the green sign with the arrow, follow along the paved path, being careful to watch out for moving vehicles (you many want to cross the paved path to be safe). Very shortly you will see a red hydrant on your left, look to your Right to see an opening welcoming you back into the woods, pass the large boulder to enter the path. You are heading South now and see a familiar brown “L” post. Continue on past a large cut up tree on your Right, up a small incline, and continue on past “M” and “N”. Just past N, you will see a two ft. high stump, with it’s long arm next to it on the Right - a great place to sit and rest, but wait, you are so close! From the stump, take a bearing of 105 degrees and head into the woods, follow under a fallen one and then head toward a Large Oak at a bearing of 35 degrees. Pass it on your right heading toward a fallen one also at 35 degrees. Approach the fallen one on the Northern side, at the stump end, under a bark cover and behind a brick you will find “Winter in Wisconsin”.

To find your way back, return to the stump and continue on the path heading South. At the “O” turn Right, passing “Michael Porter”. At the T, follow the path Left and continue heading South. When you see the bench on your Left you are in the home stretch. At the next T, again head Left and follow the trail back to your starting point.

Hope you enjoyed the hike! Box updates appreciated- Thanks!
