DIRECTIONS:
From 84 heading SW, take exit 15. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto CT67 and get into the right lane as soon as you pass back under the highway. Take CT487, Kettletown Road which comes up quickly on your right. From 84 heading NE, take exit 15 and follow the ramp to the ramp to the right and continue straight onto Kettletown Road.
Follow Kettletown Rd. which becomes Maple Tree Hill Road for a little more than 3 miles. Follow signs for Kettletown State Park, turning right onto Georges Hill Road. Park entrance will be on your left.

CLUES:
Upon entering the parking lot, follow the road to the right which descends to the beach. There is limited parking there; more is available alongside of the public restrooms. Walk to the mouth of Kettletown Brook where it empties into the lake. You will walk through a small grouping of picnic tables until you reach the blue-over-yellow blazed trail. Follow the trail over the wooden bridge, and then take the left fork of the trail alongside the brook to the cascades. When you reach the first large tree that has fallen across the brook, STOP. Now turn to right off of the trail, and climb up to the top of the rise. To your left, you should see another fallen tree. The KETTLETOWN BROOK CASCADES LETTERBOX is hidden behind a small pile of timber at the root end of the fallen tree. Stamp in and then please hide the box very well.
