This is the 11th of the Madonna of the Trail statues spread across the nation. If you're interested in them see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna_of_the_Trail Several of them have letterboxes.
Highway 60 between Socorro, NM and Show Low, AZ is called Main Street in Springerville. We actually when through the McDonald's drive-thru and parked near the statue. Get out your camera and look in awe of the statue so that the patrons waiting in the drive thru wouldn't pay you much heed.
Clue: The Madonna of the Trail reminds me of Mamie Yokum from the Lil' Abner comic strip and Broadway play. If you don't know about her, google is your friend. Look in the nearby vertical thing Mamie smoked, except this one isn't corncob.
When you rehide, please slide it down about six inches--far enough to keep it out of sight of passersby but not so far down as to be difficult to extract.
