Kenneth Earl Konz was a defensive back who played with the NFL Cleveland Browns from 1953 to 1959. He was born in Weimar, TX in 1928 where he played 6 man football because the town was so small and did not see a regulation eleven man game until he arrived at LSU. He became a star there playing both ways and doing everything extremely well, thus making him the number one draft pick in 1951. After serving in the Korean War he played 7 years and was on two championship teams. He died on February 5, 2008 and was buried in Weimar Masonic Cemetery where this letterbox can be found.

From I10 go north on FM 155 (Eagle St) for 0.7 mile then left on Hwy 90 for about 1 mile to Weimar Masonic Cemetery on the left. Drive through arch and go past gazebo to Ave B. Turn left and go to Third Street by baseball field, then turn right and park by Varley stone.
Clues:
Walk to grave of Ken Konz which is about 20 steps away just left of Varley stone. Facing his grave, go right 50 steps to multi-trunk cedar tree. Letterbox is at right base under rocks and needles.
