Beginning at the Peaceful Valley Parking area
From Westby go North on Hwy 27, approx. 5 miles
take right onto Peaceful Valley Rd. (after North Coon Prairie Church)
Follow Peaceful Valley Rd. approx. 2 miles to the parking area on right.
Take the grassy hiking trail to the right of the West Fork Kickapoo River,
follow this trail to the mouth of Jersey Valley Lake
On the left is a tree that looks like the tool of the Grim Reaper (scythe)
Walk 40 (smallish) steps up the trail
On the left are three moss covered boulders
The box is hidden at the base of the boulder furthest from the trail
hidden by some debris
Beware of thorny branches! (The left side of the boulders is safer)
