This is a quick grab to allow you time to explore this neat library. To the west, there is a beautiful walkway with vines and a pond. There are usually hungry ducks around that are happy to eat any stale bread you may bring. I have also noticed people fishing there.
Another point of interest is the creative children's area. The entrance to the storytime room is really charming, and even has a miniature door for the children. If you have young children who accompany you, it may be fun to find this one after attending on of the neat story times they have there. See planolibrary.org for those times.
ON TO THE CLUE!
On the north side of the library is a sign with an arrow that says "BOOK DROP". Hike up the hill directly behind the sign.
To your right, at the top of the hill, is a huge bushy pine tree. It is the forwardmost tree in the line. Go around to the north side of the tree. The letterbox is hidden about 5 feet up the trunk.
When you are done, please place the box in a sturdy location so it does not fall from the wind blowing. Enjoy your hunt!
