Long before the coming of the Europeans, the Bay Area was home to the Ohlone people, who hunted, gathered and fished along the shores of this inland sea. Follow these clues and sit down to imagine a memory of this place, before the airplanes, before the powerlines, when the only sounds were those of the birds, the wind and perhaps the rippling water as an Ohlone paddler glides by in a tule canoe:
