1. Doling Family Center is cool
They have a very nice pool
Park your car on the lot
Worry, do not
They also have bicycle tools.

From the front of the building walk down
they are doing some work on the grounds
Take steps on the stairs
There’s a landing right there
2.5 blocks on the left it is found.
(move the 2nd full landscaping brick)

2. If you’ve seen Doling Family Center go right next door
This is Northview and they have a dance floor
Stuff for the Seniors, you can’t go wrong
Keep on your way, keep walking along

Just to the North there is a light pole
Look underneath and there is a hole
Don’t be afraid to put your hand under there
Surely you will find a stamp, not a bear.

3. There are many things at Doling Park
Even if you decide to go after dark
A museum is there with info to read
But even if they’re closed you can get what you need.

Down to the front gate, face it straight on.
Look around, be sure you’re alone.
On the right side of the building you’ll find a bag.
Be discreet about it, you don’t want to brag.

4. At Doling they have a horseshoe pit.
That may not be your thing so don’t throw a fit
From here you see the play ground keep marching away
But look to your right, what’s that in the distance but a place to play?

The tennis courts offer hours of fun
You’ll probably get sweaty and you’ll have to run
But don’t stop there keep walking on past
You’ll have to trudge through some of the grass
Past the courts to the south, you’ll see a tree with 3 trunks
That’s where the treasure is and that is no bunk.

5. There is a big playground at Doling Park
It is quite fun, it’s a place to mark
An x on a map for it’s the place to be
When you want to get out and have something to see

There are also bathrooms for when nature calls
And plenty of room to throw baseballs
Several pavilions and many grills
Bring your friends for all the thrills

There is also a bridge to the North you can walk on
While crossing the bridge you can get your talk on
Onto the asphalt, you’ll see a bend in the road
Just to the right of the rock steps is your stamp, not a toad.

6. Upon the path past the playground that leads to the forest
At Doling park you’ll find letterboxes more-est
If you want to find a stamp and not be a dork
You’ll need to take the high road when you reach the fork
Stay on the black top, til you reach something you like
Don’t venture off where the mountain bikes bike

You’ll soon find a treasure when you see the rocks
When the road turns to cement and there are no blocks
Near the beginning right now if you move some stones
You’ll find a bag, book, and stamp right under your nose

7. At Doling Park there is a bridge into the trees
On the North side of the bridge you’ll find a stamp with much ease
Look under the bridge on the west side with care
The book is hiding, look you see it, it’s there!!

8. At Doling Park, on the west side of the pond
Down the steps from the lot, we are having great fun
There is a path into the forest, maybe you’ve met?
It has a sign that says “Caution: Slippery when wet”
Check under the first few steps and you might
Find a book, bag and stamp hiding in plain sight.

9. If you visit Doling you must see the cave
It’s called Giboney and it’s all the rave
From the western parking lot come down to the pond
You are very close you might see it if you look around

Past the circular planter head south for the cave
It is not haunted don’t be afraid
12 steps past the entrance follow the rock wall
Reach around the rock corner, about 5 feet tall

10. At Doling Park there is a pond with some geese
Bring bread or crackers to feed them if you want, if you please
On the south west side of the pond, near the cave and the planter
There is another box if you keep strolling and don’t cantor

Follow the path toward the north stay close to the hand rail
Don’t go too far or you’ll pass it and be out on the trail
The 3rd bar from the last for the rail you hold onto
There’s a loose rock you can move and stick your hand into.

11. When you visit North Springfield you must see Doling Park
Please come during the day because it closes at dark
Your first stop, for sure, is the main entrance you drive through
Under the archway and check the pillars you should do.

12. Doling Neighborhood has a house with a bear
He’s been to the pond and been fishing there
North on Campbell from Kearney, house 2625
The bear will not eat you, please stay alive.

Just to the south of this furry, friendly fellow
You’ll see a ditch for the water to meander and follow
Check the bricks closely you’ll see a small crack
Put your hand in the hole, use the stamp and put it back.

13. Andrasik Estate on the corner of Kearney and Campbell
I don’t know the story and it seems no one will tell
The empty lot stands with one lonely house
No one will touch it, not even a mouse.

Pull in the driveway, to your left is a half wall
It is old, it has vines and it’s not very tall
On the south side there are several big cracks
That are perfect for stamps, but cover your tracks.

14. At Kearney and Campbell is Andrasik Estate
It’s neglected for sure and suffered a poor fate
Trudge to the Southwest side - to the tree with two trunks
At the base of that thing you’ll find the stamp like you thunk.

15. In the Doling Neighborhood we have Watkins school
You can find it off Grant and Talmage if you are cool
There is a crossing light to the east that hides a great find
It says “School: please go 20” or you’ll be in a bind

Under that pole you will find your great treasure
But be stealthy so it’ll stay there for other’s pleasure.
