It should be stated that this letter box takes you into hunting territory. Do not look for this box during pheasant hunting season unless you are wearing orange. The starting point for this box is the parking area at the end of N.Windham Road. The road is located right before Bassett Bridge. To find N.Windham Road from letter box #1 turn left out of the picnic area and continue down Bassett Bridge Road. Pass the loading dock and the holy cow farm. The road will look like a residential road and will be quite a far ways down on the right. Drive all the way down the road and park in the dirt parking lot. Start your hike on the paved road/path
Walk straight down the path until you see the first field opening on the left, right before the yellow car gate.
Enter the clearing and go past the tree gate. Continue on the foot path until you find the abandoned chimney. Take a right and walk along the top of the cliff path closest to the water. (You'll know you're on the right path when you reach the large branch).
Continue along the path until you reach the open field on the right. Walk towards the bird house and admire the field. Look towards your left facing the birdhouse and walk back into the woods, towards the water. Continue down the original path you were on. Climb over the fallen trees and continue down the path for a rather short distance. There will be a half dead half mangled pine with wood pecker holes in it. Walk 180 degrees away from the water, towards the great pine that only blooms a little in the middle and at the top. Around the base of the pine will be a rusted metal gas tank. Inside should be what you're looking for.
