This letterbox is part of the GO and Find Your Hero! program in Ephrata, PA. It will be available from May 30, 2015- August 8, 2015. Further details about the program may be found at www.goephrata.org.
The GO and Find Your Hero! program requires you to search for up to 15 “autographs” of community heroes. These “autographs” are wooden posts with engraved plates on them, instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate onto your GO and Find Your Hero! rubbing page, available at the Ephrata Public library.
The letterbox is located at Snyder Community Park in Clay Township. GO Ephrata! level of difficulty = Easy
- From the paved parking area, locate and walk along the macadam pathway between ball fields #2 and #3.
- Stay on the path until it comes to a “T” and then bear left.
- You should be walking along the perimeter of field #3. The autograph you seek should be near the lacrosse netting.
