This letterbox is part of the GO and Find Your Hero! program in Ephrata, PA. It will be available from May 30, 2015- August 8, 2015. Further details about the program may be found at www.goephrata.org.
The GO and Find Your Hero! program requires you to search for up to 15 “autographs” of community heroes. These “autographs” are wooden posts with engraved plates on them, instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate onto your GO and Find Your Hero! rubbing page, available at the Ephrata Public library.
The letterbox is located on the Major Dick Winters Memorial Trail and may be accessed from the East Queen Street parking area. GO Ephrata! level of difficulty = Easy
- From the parking area, take a right onto the public sidewalk and continue straight until you arrive at the macadam trail.
- Carefully cross Queen Street on the sidewalk and continue on the trail until you reach the “Smile” mural.
- The autograph post should be nearby.
