*letterbox could very well be missing, hoping I can get another stamp or bought 2 for whatever reason (it was store bought, not sorry) hope to get this back up soon!! it was probably placed poorly to begin with :( sorry folks!!*

This letterbox was placed in loving memory of my friend Stirling Danskin, who was summoned back to the heavens on April 11th 2012. I imagine he would have planted this box with me; I like to think he was there with me in spirit <3
Go to the McCook's Point Park in Niantic, CT. Go up past the beach, past the playground, until you see a big flagpole and several benches overlooking the water. Back to the flagpole, sit on the bench that is on the right hand side. You'll know you have the right bench because the little plaque on it reads 'Humor is Essential' (I smiled to myself; What a perfect fit! Stirling would have agreed wholeheartedly)
While sitting on this bench overlooking the water, you will notice a tree at around 11 o'clock. Go to this tree (which you will actually see is a 2 sister tree). Be careful as you descend to find the Celebrate Life box tucked at the base of the tree that is closer to the shore.
Please be careful re-hiding the box as it's a steep hill and this is a high-traffic area.
And please take a moment out of your day to Celebrate Life! Hug those closest to you, share a smile, tell your family you love them! Remember to not take a single moment for granted! Share the love and don't be afraid to ask for help!
Most importantly, NEVER GIVE UP! There's always sun after the storm :)
