This letterbox is available at the Tourist Info Center on Route 13 in Salisbury, Maryland. If you are heading south, soon after you cross the Maryland border, follow the signs to the Center – on the right. Heading north, you will see signs for the Center near the mall – the Center is on your left.
There's an indoor area, manned by counselors who can help with your questions about the area, where you can also pick up brochures, discounts and buy Maryland souvenirs. There is a playground and some picnic tables and a covered pavilion. There is a lovely pond in the back of the building (with tables on a deck overlooking it where you can picnic) and a stream going through the property; you can buy food to feed the fish, turtles and ducks. It’s a great place to stop on your way to Virginia Beach or Ocean City.
Hours: Year-round, every day from 8:00am – 5:00pm
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter.
