Meet My Family #2 - Blas LbNA #68598

This letterbox is in memory of my late father. Although I don’t have many memories with him, the few I do have, I hold dear to my heart. I miss him kissing my cheek and messing up my hair. I miss seeing him by the tree. The tree that has a bicycle frame in it. He put it there, many, many, years ago, when the tree was very little! Rain, snow or shine, he was there, waiting by "his" tree, for one of his children to come by. If you’d like to meet him, he’s waiting by the tree; maybe one day I’ll see you by the tree as I drive by.

Start at the Maloney Magnet Elementary School (233 S. Elm St). Directly across the street from the school is a small parking lot (you'll need to be on that side of the street). Walk towards Saint Annes Church and notice the large tree closest to the church (without walking across the street to the church). Do you see it? There's a bicycle frame in the tree! Go around the tree to the other side and notice the rest of the bicycle frame. Located on top of the frame, between the tree trunks, underneath some branches and a stone is Blas.
