Box 5
'Thumper'
Reagan Park, Medina
Some hills, but nothing too huge
Reagan Park is weird, because it's right by a road, but you can almost pretend you're in the middle if nowhere. If, you know, you bring earplugs so you can't hear the cars going by. :) Anyway. I keep saying bring bug spray, but I AM SERIOUS. There are literally clouds of mosquitoes down there. It's terrifying. And, of course, I didn't bring bug spray. So yeah. Do that.
~INSTRUCTION~
Going West on Reagan Parkway from Rt. 3, park in the first pull-off on the right. It has a random guardrail. Off the East side of the guardrail, there's a thin trail heading into the woods. Take it to the 'T' and continue East until you reach a second 'T'. Go North, past the bicycle tree. The trail switchback, then there's yet another fork. Take the West trail. Walk along the bank of the river through all the tall weeds and cross a washed-out bridge made of tree branches. Past the soccer field(it's on the other side of the river) but before the rapids(you should be able to hear them before you get there) there's a really big gnarly osage orange tree on the right. The 'Thumper' box is hidden in a hole around the back. Please don't fall into the river. If you have any questions/ comments/concerns(like the bank eroded and there isn't a tree anymore, for instance...) you can contact me at - tiredmom5kidz@yahoo.com.
