On a very hot day,
In this very park,
A bride and a groom met,
For an adventure on which they would embark.

She dressed in white,
He donned a bow tie,
Two young love birds,
The apple of the other's eye.

It was the 13th of June,
A Friday in two thousand fourteen,
When all came to commune
For the groom and his queen.

'Twas a beautiful sight
When they said, "I choose you,"
And celebrated that night
For they declared, "I do."

Now to celebrate their anniversary,
One complete year later,
We two as happy as can be,
Plant this box as the creators.

Enjoy the lovely park as you look,
Be stealthy as you adventure,
Finding this box in its nook,
Make sure you replace this treasure.

Start at the boat house on the front steps. Walk forward across the bridge and onto the asphalt path. Turn west (right) and follow the concrete path. Two large trees will greet you on your right and you should see a large boulder ahead. Veer left onto the asphalt path. Stop and read the boulder and learn about Smith's Ditch. Continue on the asphalt path. Follow the path with the smith ditch on your right until you get to the road. Cross the road and touch the smith ditch historic district sign. The treasure is under the large bush in front of you.
