Travelling east on Route 6 from the town of Marion, go right at the stoplight onto Point Road. After the water tower, but before Delano Road, pull into the parking space on the left marked Hagemann Woods.

Enter the path, walking along to a clearing. Go left along the path past a large fallen tree on your right as you exit the clearing. Step over two fallen tree trunks. At the T, go left. Stop at the next fork which has a pile of brush and a log you can sit on. You will see a two-trunked tree with a sawed off trunk in the yoke. The letterbox is nestled in the yoke of the tree. To return, continue straight leaving the two-trunked tree on your right. You will exit through the cemetery, a special place designed for the burial of ashes only with several contemplative walks and a memorial circle. Turn left on Point Road to return to your starting place.

We have placed letterboxes at three other Sippican Lands Trust sites off Point Road.

Our rabbit stamp represents the wildlife protected by the lands trust sites.

We enjoyed placing the letterbox on a very hot day: grandma, grandpa, a granddaughter from CA and two grandsons and a daughter from OR.
