Ohio’s Most Perfect Tree

Stockdale,Ohio
Pike County

Bring ink pad and pen.

Caution: An easy find with a couple of steep banks to walk.

Officially known as Ohio’s Most Perfect Tree. Don’t know who made this declaration or what even makes a tree perfect. But it’s well worth the drive. This tree is huge.

Directions: On OH Rt.-335, just 3 -1/2 miles south of where Rt.335 intersects OH Rt.-32. Look for the sign and the tree. There is a small pull over on the two lane windy road.

Clues: Stand below the tree at the bottom of the bank. (Northeast of the tree) Take a compass reading of 68º and proceed 8 paces across the ditch to a broken over pine tree. Look under the trunk near the broken base of the tree. Please re-hide well. Email me if you find.
