Lil' Stinker has found a new home in the East Canaan Cemetery.
From the Route 7 and Route 44 intersection in Canaan, take 44 east, 1.5 miles. Elm Knoll Farm will be on the right and the cemetery will be on the left across from the end of the barn closest to the road.
From Route 44 west in Norfolk,Drive 1.5 miles from the Blackberry River Inn. The cemetery gate will be on your right.
Lil Stinker chose this spot because his new neighbors are quiet and won't complain about his slight odor. Especially because the "Dairy Air" is stronger than his own...
Turn into the cemetery and take the road up the hill. Park at the top of the hill. There will be a heart shaped stone on the left with
(Carol 1912-1973 Jennie 1922-2009) and a stone bench with white legs and a black seat. On the right is a white stone (Everett Lee King).
Walk up the grassy hill toward the beautiful brick laid "Burton" stone. Go left between the 2 Washington Monument stones (Stevens and Lawrence) Just past them at the top you will find a small red stone that reads, Agnes Bertha Cobb "My Bert". (If you reach the large Gondolfo stone, you went to far.) Facing the "My Bert" stone, walk to the large oak tree in front of you. It has an evergreen on its right. You want to go on the left of the oak at the base. Lil' Stinkers is under all those small stones. Please reseal all bags and rehide well. Lil' Stinker doesn't want anyone sniffing him out, that isn't a letterboxer.
