Chocolay Township has a couple of parks available. One is "Silver Creek", on Silver Creek Road, just past the Chocolay Township Hall.
Drive into the Silver Creek Church parking lot and follow the road around the tennis courts. Drive over two speed bumps and park near the baseball diamond. From here, take the inclined sidewalk halfway up the hill until you reach an opening. Take a right, and walk past Red Disc Golf "hole" #12 (be aware of any disc golfers!), and follow the trail up the hill. At the fork, go to the left and look for red #13 tee. Now, walk toward the red #13 "hole" and look for a fallen log on the right between two tall pine trees. The letterbox is hidden next to the fallen log. If you get to the #13 red "hole", turn around and go back 10 paces and you should see the log.
