GENERAL INFORMATION:
The 9 Big Dreamers is located at Pond Street Recreation Complex on Rt. 115 in Norfolk, MA. Parking is free.
EASY DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From Rt. 1 in Foxboro (at the set of lights) turn onto Pine Street. (Pine Street is approximately 1 mile south Gillette Stadium). Travel approximately 0.3 miles; take a right at stop sign onto Rt. 115N. Follow Rt. 115N for approximately 1.9 miles and the entrance to Pond Street Recreation Complex is on the right.
CLUE:
Start in the parking lot furthest to the left (when facing the playground). Around the complex is a walking path. Follow the tar walking path. Rt. 115 will be on your left and a soccer field (fence) will be on your right. Just as you pass the field you will see a small gray utility box/meter and a mile marker that says 7/10 mile. Bear right and the path will turn to dirt. About 40 yards on the left there will be a large gray utility box. Shortly after the box the path will curve to the right and then straighten out. The path will become a bit curvy and a small soccer field will appear on your right. To your left just off the path you will see two trees joined at the base and immediately followed by three trees joined at the base. Stop and look down the path off to the left and you will see two trees that look like the number “11”. Walk approximately 30 steps to the trees and behind them will be a large dead tree trunk lying on the ground. When looking at it from the trail it sort of looks like the head of a triceratops dinosaur! What you seek is hidden to the right of the “head”. Please hide the box when you are finished!
UPDATE: The box has been found and removed. I have planted a new box near by so once you have found this location, stay on the walking path. Continue walking on the walking path approximately 65 paces. You will see a very large tree with 3 trees growing out of the same trunk very close to the path on your left. The box is on the ground behind the tree. Please be sure to cover it with some pine needles and sticks when you re-hide it. Enjoy.
