Take I-70 W and take exit #226 for Silver Plume.
Take left at the stop sign and head straight and take a right and drive down the grave road that goes back along the highway.
You will see a DEAD END sign. Park here. From this sign head up the recreational trail, walking approx. 183-203 steps up the mountain. It depends on your stride length!
A smaller woman (200 steps). A 6'2 male (183 steps).
Look for a single pine tree on your left. Take 3 more steps and you should see an aspen tree with a thick trunk. At the base, under a pile of 5 rocks, should be the letterbox!
14 members planted this box in remembrance of our beloved grandparents that are no longer here with us. We love and miss them everyday. Their love was such an example to us! This area was a favorite spot of theirs. We hope you enjoyed finding this box, please place back carefully. This trail can have people around:)
Hike length: 0.5 miles
