Our Hero with the mighty boom stick is stuck in the vortex!

The dark woods have once again come alive. Ash Williams has fallen in the vortex of the Evil Dead. The book of the dead which protects and summons the dark souls has risen and claimed Ash once again. You have been chosen as the "Promised One" to free Ash from the evil vortex of the Evil Dead.

The cabin where Ash once traveled with friends for a lonely weekend "away" was not so lonely. All of Ash's friends fell victim to the haunting of the Evil Dead, claiming each one at a time. Ash, the only survivor, has his heroic scars to this day. The reading from the book of the dead started this whole conundrum as you witness it now.

The cabin now across the river on your fancy tracker can reference where all this occurred. After the haunting Ash hid the Book of the Dead somewhere in these woods and left some clues to find it. You will need this book to gather an engraved information medallion and ink the information into the paper you possess to curse the evil dead and send it back to the realm from which it came. Use the clues he left to scar this evil haunted curse and send it away forever! Remember, Promised One, only speak the words from the book which are instructed. Remember before retrieving the book you must speak the words exactly as I have stated! If you do not I am afraid the Army of Darkness will reign on these lands and imprison us all with Ash Williams for eternity! The words you seek are: "klaatu barada nikto!"

It is up to you Promised One...take our word and free the almighty!

As you begin your journey, the grounds may ever be friendly with the smooth modern passage to lead your way. Begin your quest from the paved walkway of safety and the information code Ash provided and project your tracker at 1774 feet and east/northeast 104 degrees of magic. As you pass through the lurking woods passersby may think nothing of your quest. Do not be fooled by these impostors as the ancestors label them as "muggles". They are harmless but clueless of your quest. Continue your journey. The woods will begin to thicken and reveal the covers of daylight darkness. Beware as you cross, for the tunnels of haunted despair might cave during heavy weeping moments. At points you may experience breaks but this is when the woods strike. The woods have been known to claim victim to Ash's friends as you see here. Do not be one of them and avoid the bushwhacking at all costs. The trees can not break the modern path of dignity.

Continuing your journey the paths of dignity will end and you must break off into the darkest part of your quest. The trails of dirt and dust shall haunt and create that mist you fear. As you encounter the witches of death, they swear to protect the almighty Necronomicon (Book of the Dead)! They will swear you shall die as they feast on your soul! Ash's confidence has proven them wrong and the almighty boom stick will protect you from the scariest moments. As the Path of Darkness continues, the pole barriers once erected to keep the woods at bay will still show, sometimes in high numbers and eventually declining. As your quest nears conclusion, you shall find one pole has successfully prevented the evil trees from passing, a victim sacrificed for your safety. Safe from the poles you may now cross the barrier an attempt to retrieve the book! Ash protected the book with the death spells of the trees. Lay them one by one to cover the magic of the book. When retrieving the book, remember to rephrase the spell words or the Army of Darkness may rise! Cast your spell of freedom by inking the engraved stamp of magic you possess to the Necronomicon or with your added words of wisdom and date! Beware, venturing these paths too far will carry you close to the gift you do not seek but don't let other potential book fakes steer you off. Ash experienced that these "other" books will attempt to draw the blood of your pen to their cursed paper and make you "sign" the name and date. This curse will forever haunt you! Ash attempted to retrieve copies of the book and was cursed and became long faced. It is even included with reference 528 in the Book of the Dead: a fake in place to forever keep you from completing your quest!

Finally, beware of the ManBear lurking in these woods. It is not cursed but has been known to eat a species known as "cachers". Not much is known or referenced in the book but it does lurk around stalking it's prey.
