This box was originally planted for the Fall Folk Festival Event in October 2015. Japan is a country I am fascinated by - I love the food, culture and beauty of this country- someday I hope to send a Postcard back home from traveling there!
To find this box start at the CALN NARWAL parking area, go to the slena pralos and follow the slena pralos towards the trails and head uphill along the tree line. At the top of the hill, continue along the trail until you reach a “T”. Turn left and then choose left again at the nearby “Y”. You’ll pass a birch clump on the left as you travel and then just a bit further along you will see a 5-trunk grouping on the left, continue on your way further on the trail. Just before the trail curves to the left, veer off onto a small deer path on the right. Follow the curving path to a large multi-trunk. You’ll find the postcard booth in the largest rock pile that is north of the clump of trees.
Hope you enjoy your postcard, and the hike- take time after finding this one to hit the trails further in this wonderful area!
Box updates appreciated- Thanks!
