This year's Halloween box is placed across the street from Telge park, in a new park along Cypress Creek. Nice parking area, and open ground. Not good to get during rain.
Directions:
From Hwy 290, go north on Telge rd. Pass Cypress North Houston, then look for turn in on left before Cypress Creek. Park in parking lot on left side.
To the Letterbox:
Walk to left side of park near 2 green picnic tables, then continue down this side of open area to the far end. Near the #3 Frisbee golf basket, enter trees on path and go right. Go to the #4 tee box, then to picnic table to left. Go behind that table, counting 60 steps down the trail. Go left off train and straight back in the woods for 25 steps (should be downed tree on your left). Find multi-trunk tree to the left, with box hanging on back side about 4 feet up.
