Stamp hand-carved.

This letterbox is placed very near the Continental Divide. From the box site, going a short distance north on Road 50, the road crosses over the Divide. Also, a short distance east on Highway 53, the highway crosses over the Divide.
Drive on New Mexico State Highway 53 between Grants and El Morro. Between mile markers 58 and 59, turn north on Zuni Canyon Road (Forest Road 50). Park immediately in the pullout on the left side of the dirt road.
Walk a short distance up the dirt road to the brown “McGaffey 44” sign. From the sign go at about 88 degrees (from mag. north) for about 47 steps to a large lone boulder. The box is at the north end of the boulder under a flat rock covered with some twigs.
Please please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag) and put all of it INSIDE the box. Please rehide the box well under the rock and covered with some twigs and plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.
Please record your find at www.letterboxing.org/ or at www.atlasquest.com/ .
