With the slogan "One Happy Island" on its car license plates, it's no surprise Aruba is one of the most visited islands in the Caribbean. American convenience meets Dutch finesse in Aruba where visitors will find fine sandy strands, cactus-spiked terrain and ritzy resorts that rival the best in the world. Unlike much of the Caribbean region, Aruba has a dry climate that causes visitors to reliably expect warm, sunny weather, especially since it lies outside Hurricane Alley. Auba's flag was adopted in 1976 and consists of a field of light blue, two narrow parallel horizontal yellow stripes in the bottom half, and a four-pointed red star in the canton. The blue field represents the sky, the sea, peace, and hope. The two narrow stripes suggest sun, gold, and abundance. The red star represents blood shed by Arubans. This box has a stamp of this flag and it can be found at Eagle Beach, which boasts the widest beach in Aruba and is famous for its pristine and soft white sands.

From Oranjestad go north on Lloyd G. Smith Blvd for about 6 miles to Eagle Beach on the left and park near entrance wall.

Go to southern-most wall with Eagle Beach name and walk south along road 95 steps to beginning of second hedge. LB is at base of second bush under rocks. Please be discreet and replace as described.
