Every winter I get together with friends at a ranch near Weimar to make sausage, so I decided to place a box nearby to mark the occasion. Since several of them are of German descent, alcohol is a big part of the event and is considered essential to the process. After the meat has been ground up, we gather around to "bless" it before stuffing in casings. This involves sprinkling some whiskey on the meat and everyone downing a shot to ensure the batch will be good. I'm not sure if this is necessary, but the sausage is always good, so we don't question the tradition. By finding this box you can be part of the blessing without a hangover!

Directions:
From Weimar, go east on Hwy 90 about 2 miles, then left on CR 201. Go about 3.5 miles as it winds right and left to CR 208. Go left about 1 mile to CR 205 and turn right, then immediately park on left by gate of Osage Cemetery.

Clues:
Walk through gate and go left along fence to corner, then go right along that fence to another gate. Continue a few steps to large tree on right with brown rock at base facing you. Minibox is under rock and leaves.

Hike length: 0.1 miles
