Fogland has been our family beach for over 40 years. The memories we have made on every square foot of this place are endless. If you enjoy kayaking this is the place to visit. Catching crabs, trapping minnows, and a good ole' fish fry are just a few things we do to pass our time here. Not long ago I realized that this beach is a haven for amazing pieces of sea-glass. The first red piece in my collection was found at this very beach. If you know anything about sea-glass you know red is an extremely rare find.

Today's letterbox...when you reach the entrance to the beach drive down past the reception shack. There is a fee between Memorial Day and Labor Day after 9 am if you are not a town resident but if you just tell the person in the shack you are doing a quick 5 minute visit they should let you in with no issues. Once you drive past pull over to the left and park over facing the water. If you walk over to the boat ramp you can scan the rocks for some sea-glass, see if you have any luck!

Walk on over to the playground, who doesn't like a good old fashioned see-saw!? Give it a try! I don't care how old you are...see-saw's are fun!

Next, head over to where you would find our nations flag. Stand in the doorway facing the water just behind the tall pole. Bow your head and find the Eastern most point of the Southern Star. Down there you will find your hidden gem. The most covenant piece of sea-glass on earth. Please replace with care for others to enjoy! Happy hunting!
