• Go to 7455 W Twin Peaks rd
• Park at “Anytime Fitness” closest to the side walk as possible
• Going towards the road, start walking on the sidewalk heading back to Twin Peaks highway staying on the right side
• Crossing over a wash bridge, you will see a bus stop sign up ahead
• Keep walking past Palm Canyon rd and Marbella neighborhood sign
• Keep walking on sidewalk and pass N Clover way
• After passing the last houses go down the bike ramp in front of you
• Once at the bottom of the bike ramp take a left on to the Santa Cruz walking/biking path
• Go to the map holder straight ahead
• You will see a small wash in front of you
• Leaving the bike path, start walking through the small wash
• At the end of the small wash, to your left, you will see the underside of the Santa Cruz River bridge
• Cross under the bridge
• Go past black and yellow gate
• Continue on concrete path for some time
• After walking for a bit you will pass under ”telephone” poles, continue on concrete path
• As you keep walking you will be able to see the Santa Cruz River on your right
• Keep going until you pass a white box with yellow posts
• Go forward and pass a small palo verde tree on the left
• You will see a tree growing down on the concrete slope to your right
• Climb down the concrete slope to the left of the tree and stand on concrete shelf
• Cross Santa Cruz River to sandy bank on the other side
• Note: please do not cross the river if it is above knee depth, the current is strong
• Pass through some low branches to your left
• You should now be in a small rocky clearing
• Look to the last branch on the tree to your left
• On the last branch you should find the shell
• Please make sure letterbox is secure when finished
