Note: After a long vacation this box , formerly known as "Val-de ri Val-de-ra" has been placed in a new location with new clues. The stamps and logbook are the same, so if you found it during the short time that it was in the wild, you may not want to look for it again.
Find the slab parking lot at Rudolph Bennitt Conservation Area. Park in the lot and take the trail to the right. This trail wanders around a bit, so if you prefer a shorter hike you can take the wide gravel path used by the horse riders to get to the horse tie-up sites 1-5. Continue past this area to intersect with the trail which will go downhill until you cross the creek. Once across the creek, take the trail to the left. Follow it uphill until you reach a "water diverter" that looks like a speed bump. from there go 9 paces farther and look to the right for a multi-trunked tree next to the trail. Look in the pocket on the left side to find the happy wanderers resting on bark and covered with bark and leaves. Please re-cover completely. Thanks.
This trail is 1-2 miles round trip.
