This has been a busy year for our Girl Scout troop, and we thought we’d relax and remember all of the fun times that we’ve had this year! It was a beautiful day, so we thought we’d go outside and enjoy the sunshine.
What better place to go than to the South Fayette park where we held our family picnic! We sat in the picnic shelter to reminisce.

We noticed a sign to our DIRECT EAST, reminding us that a Girl Scout always is “responsible for what I say and do,” and thought how sad the world has become that they needed to place this sign there to remind others to take care of the earth.

To our DIRECT NORTH there was a giant green bin designed to help everyone accomplish this task easily.

(And, for those of you with a sense of humor or a sense of urgency, you’ll notice that there’s also a place to your DUE SOUTH which would also be a proper place to accomplish this task…)

If these directions seem right to you, you should be in the perfect position to see what we saw while we enjoyed the beautiful day.

120° to the SE, there’s a tree that stands out from the rest of the scenery. Check in that area for your treasure.
