Little Buddy (in memory of Clayton Ebersold) LbNA #70074

This box was placed with permission from the Book worm gardens, in loving memory of Clayton Tracy Ebersold. Clayton moved from Fredonia to his new residence in heaven Sunday January 14, 2007 at the age of 9 after being struck by a car as he was getting the mail. Clayton loved to read and never went anywhere without a book. He was always teaching someone something new from the subjects he read about. If you are in Fredonia make sure to stop at the elementary school and see his library corner, or little free library adjacent to the school garden. We thank the Ebersold family for allowing us to honor their son with this letterbox.
Start at the book worm gardens. Head straight through the main gate and walk past the giving tree. We are reminded how much Clayton gave to the world and still does to this day. Take the path past the welcome sign, Head past the rainbow garden. Take the path up the hill to the "explore" bricks below. Head left. You will see a snake to your right in tree. Watch out! Go straight ahead to the butterfly below your feet. Head right. Look for the dragon fly bench to your left. Have a seat. Think biggish blue spruce....Search underneath
And success you will find. hint: Look under its side farthest away from bench. Stamp up and enjoy a place that inspires reading and reminds us of a bright little boy with book in hand who left too soon.
