This box is in memory of those who lost their lives in one of Wisconsins deadliest car accidents. On October 11, 2002 a dense fog blanketed interstate 43 causing a 50 car pile up on the south bound lanes with 10 deaths, 39 injured and 66 others at serious risk of injury. Take the Cedar Grove exit 113 off of interstate 43. Head west to Sauk trail road. Take a right. Look for historical marker on your left. Park in drive. Look for large memorial stone next to historical marker. Head back behind the memorial stone past the small tree until you see the 3 bushes. Look In the center bush. It's tucked inside good. . Stamp up and say a prayer or good thought for those who have both survived this accident, those who lost their lives and those left behind.

Hike length: 0.1 miles
