Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 1 mile RT)
Number of boxes: 2 (both stamps in same box)
Status: alive
This box was placed for the 2016 Great Lakes Gathering, which was a space camp held at Waterloo Recreation Area in Michigan. It was hosted by two sisters who are out of this world: 4EyesMcGee & PoofMagicEvilKitty. This is two boxes in one since they like to fly together.
Directions:
From I94 go north on Race Rd for about 2 miles, then right on Seymour Rd about 1 mile. Turn left into Waterloo Recreation Area, continue straight to Lakeview Shelter and park by Waterloo/Pinckney Trail.
Clues:
Walk on trail as it goes by lake then veers away from it. Continue a ways until you see a branch arching over trail then a tree on right with a blue mark. Continue 22 steps from mark to double-trunk tree on right side of trail. Go right off trail 25 steps to another twin hosting the sisters at their back base under sticks and leaves.
Hike length: 1 mile
