The box is back out, with a new container, stamp and logbook.
---------------------------------
Find Kingsland Park, on the edge of Nutley and Clifton. Best place to park is in the commuter lot near the Stop and Shop. Cross the street to enter the park. It’s easy walking, on smooth, mostly flat, pavement. On your left is a house built in the 18th century that serves as a museum. Also, two waterfalls, and a dam built in 1861, if the inscription is to be believed. Follow the path keeping the water on your right. You’ll come to a stone wall on your left. Keep an eye out for a large flat rectangular rock, which looks rather like a gravestone. Just behind and slightly to the left is another boulder. Behind this, and under a SPOR is what you’re looking for. If you find the stone seat in the wall, you’ve gone too far.

The walkway continues through several more parks going all through Nutley, forming a walk totaling about two miles out and back, part of which follows along the Lenape Trail. There are several playgrounds along the way for the kiddies, and an impressive railroad bridge. Great shady walk, or bike ride. Watch out for the geese!

• No ink included; bring your own. Black is recommended.
• Watch for muggles; this is a well-used park
• Please rehide well.

Hike length: 1-2 miles
