Take a beautiful drive down into the coulie to Echo Dale Lake. Access from Hwy3 west of the Medicine Hate Airport, take Holsom Road south and follow sign for Echo Dale.
This is a lovely little gem of a place, with a cute little farm (with animals), and a man-made lake and beach for family fun.
To find this letterbox, park at the first lake and follow the path to the right of the lake, walking towards the far gazebo practically hidden behind the trees.
Look southwest of the gazebo and notice a large trio tree, in which, if you are lucky, you will find a pair of hawks guarding their nest! You will find the letterbox hidden at the base of the tree in a crevice.
