We were walking on the San Gabriel River Trail and paused to take a rest. I left behind a little bear stamp for others who hike there.
Park on the Lower Park Road (30.647368, -97.672198) take the pedestrian bridge across the river and climb the switchback to the trail along N. College Street.
Go right at the top of the switchback and cross a small bridge to a park bench. Sit down to rest and make sure you are alone as this is a well used trail.
When clear look at the tree to your right. Buried in the mulch and covered by stone on the back of the tree is a small box with a little bear.
Please rehide well.
Hike length: 1 mile
