The Virginia Beach Farmer’s Market is open year-round and features a variety of agriculturally inspired shops and related businesses that offer seasonal, fresh vegetables and fruit along with many other products. Stop by the PA County Grill for a great breakfast or try the daily lunch Blue Plate Special. (This place gets really crowded sometimes but the food is good.) If you enjoy country or blue grass music, you should come for their Friday Night Hoedowns, April through October 7:00pm-10:00pm.
Clue: Find the large entertainment area in the center of the market. Take a fun picture with the wooden cut-outs or just take a rest under one of the naturally covered benches. From one of these benches, you can see where the bands play at the hoedowns. At the back of the platform, find the stairs. Go up, look around, see what view the band has. Now go back down the stairs, look under, tucked in tight, the Happy Farmer is out of sight.
