This is a fairly flat trail. Should take about 25 minutes. No ink pads included. Compass needed.
1. Go to the playground at the very back of the park. Face playground from the parking lot. Go to the trail on the right side of the castle playhouse/area.
2. Go straight on trail until you see the BICYCLE TRAIL sign . Continue straight past the sign. Then bear right at the fork in the path.
3. Turn right onto gravel path by the PIGNUT HICKORY sign.
4. Walk forward until you get to a bridge.
5. Walk over the bridge. You should see a # 6 on a stake. (If you don’t then you are on the wrong side of the bridge.) Walk forward on the main trail.
6. Walk over the second wooden bridge.
7. Stay on main trail. Make a left at first fork in the trail.
8. After about 10 paces from the fork you took in step 7, you will see a small dirt path on your left. Follow it. Go left.
9. Cross a wooden bike trail that passes over a swampy area and keep on going.
10. When you step off the wooden trail turn Northeast 60° until you get to the the arched tree. Turn right. Walk off the the path a few steps until you arrive at a large group of holly trees.
11. Look for box by the 3 holly trees that are growing together. Find the letterbox hidden at their base.
