The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is located on the Bay of Kotor, a submerged river canyon. With its limestone cliffs, Kotor and its surrounding area form an impressive and picturesque landscape. It is one of the best preserved medieval old towns in the Adriatic and is home to numerous sights, such as the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon built in 1166, and the Castle of St. John, where this box can be found.

Directions:
Park near the Sea Gate of Old Town Kotor.

Clues:
Walk through the gate and go to the Cathedral of St. Tryphon at the back right corner of town. Walk around right side and go left behind it about 100 meters to water spigot on left at intersection. Go right to entrance of steps leading up to the castle, pay fee (3 euros), and walk all the way up to flagpole at top. Continue up a few steps to back wall and go right through rock doorway to corner of two walls where path goes right. Look down at corner for minibox in crevice of wall behind rocks. Please be discreet and replace as described.
