James Douglas "Jim" Morrison was an American singer, songwriter, and poet best remembered as the lead singer of the rock group The Doors. In the 1960's he was one of the popular culture's most rebellious and oft-displayed icons, representing the generation gap and youth counterculture. He developed an alcohol and drug dependency which affected his performances on stage, and eventually died at the age of 27 in Paris, apparently from an accidental heroin overdose. Morrison is interred at Père Lachaise Cemetery in eastern Paris, where this box can be found.

Directions:
Drive northeast on Rue de la Roquette to main entrance of Pere Lachaise Cemetery and park nearby.

Clues:
Walk through entrance on Ave Principale and look at map on left to see where Jim and other famous people are buried. Go straight to Ave du Piuts and go right, staying on it as it changes to Ave Casmir-Perier. Go right on Chemin Serre then immediate left on Ch. Maison to Chemin Lauriston. Cross over and go past right side of Famille Manceaux monument, then left about 10 meters to Jim's grave. With your back to the grave, go 10 meters to another brick path and go right 30 steps to Famille Vuidet Bizot monument on left. Go behind it on right side to big tree and go around to back side of tree for more privacy. Minibox is at far side base of tree next to large rock under small flat rocks. Please be discreet and replace as described.
