RETIRED Wilson Cemetery
Barre Town's largest cemetery is over 200 years old. The oldest headstone is dated 1798. Some of the earliest residents of Barre Town, then called Wildersburg, are buried in the Old Yard 3 and 4 sections of the cemetery. In these sections you will find several Revolutionary War and War of 1812 veterans.
- Begin by finding Wilson Cemetery on Websterville Rd. in Barre Town
- Make your way to the tall flag pole in the center of the cemetery
- Stand facing the dedication to all of those who have served their country
- Make your way down the road to your left
- Don't make fun of the Geakes as you pass between them
- Reed the Book of Life
- Find a column cut in half
- At the T, head straight to the Stone
- Lose yourself in the hedges beside Harvey looking for Wilson

RETIRED Saint Sylvester Cemetery
St. Sylvester's Church operates this private, Catholic cemetery.
- Saint Sylvester Cemetery lies just across the road from Wilson Cemetery
- Again begin by standing at the dedication to those who have served
- Walk along the paved road heading off to your left
- Keep Duranleau on your left as the pavement ends
- Putney will pass on your right
- Follow the natural curve of the path
- Pass by the No Thru Traffic sign onto grass and look for Goulet's convertible
- Keep your eyes open for Henri's fallen cross
- In the lilac bush behind Blais and next to Benoit, you will find Nancy Seaward watching over St. S

West Hill Cemetery (clue updated 7/3/20)
Barre Town's supposed oldest cemetery lacks any written records and is therefore considered the town's forgotten cemetery. The last burial to occur here was in 1895.
- Find West Hill Cemetery on Perry Road
- Enter and stand admiring the wide sign
- Walk diagonally towards back left corner
- Captain Enos Town Jr. stands watch while two sisters wrestle with a stone post
- Here you will find West Hill waiting
