From the parking lot by the boat launch area, head East on the North side of the Lake, to the walking trail. Follow the trail that starts past the boat launch. After a short walk, the trail splits; head right.
From there, follow the signs for Switchback Trail/Board Bottom Trail.
When the trail splits, follow the signs for Board Bottom Trail, to the left. You will come to a clearing with a picnic grove. Cross through the grove. Where the trail begins again (Board Bottom Trail), head through the trees, about 160 steps or so, where the underbrush is sparse. The Key Letterbox will be found at the base of the largest tree you will encounter on the right,
