Status: alive
The annual Dripping Springs Dripping With Taste Wine & Food Festival was created to showcase the growing number of local vineyards, breweries, distilleries and gourmet food fares. Not only can you can sample an assortment of Texas wines, craft beers, foods and spirits, you can also attend cooking demonstrations, hear live music and even try grape stomping. The festival is held at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, where this box can be found.
Directions:
From Hwy 290 go north on RR 12 about 1.5 miles and turn left at light on Event Center Dr, then immediate right into Ranch Park. Continue straight past event center and follow road as it narrows and winds to playground on left where you can park.
Clues:
Walk left on the gravel Pedestrian Trail across road you just came in on and continue as it follows Little Barton Creek. When trail changes to cement, continue 35 steps to bench on right. Go 5 more steps then go right uphill 7 steps to cedar tree. Minibox is at back base under rocks and needles.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
