Located on the Hurst Creek arm of Lake Travis, Lakeway City Park has many amenities, including: Butterfly Garden, Bark Park, hiking, shuffleboard, washers, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, baseball, swimming and canoeing/kayaking. Also located in the park is the start of the Hurst Creek-Blue Hole Paddling Trail, a water trail that follows the creek upstream past the Overlook to scenic Blue Hole. So come find this little paddler then do some paddling of your own.

Directions:
Go west on Lakeway Blvd, right on Lohmans Crossing Rd, then bend right as it becomes Hurst Creek Rd. Follow it to City Park on the right and park in last lot by the beach picnic area.

Clues:
Walk toward water and go left on cement trail past volleyball courts and picnic tables. Continue into woods to where trail bends left away from water and Murdock bench is on the right. Look left of bench about 5 steps for multi-trunk cedar tree. LB is at back base under rocks.

Hike length: 1 mile
