Terrain Difficulty: Moderate (moderate slope, 6 miles RT)
Recommended Ink: brown

Lakeway has many great trails, several of which connect to join trails in Bee Cave, making Lakeway to Bee Cave hiking possible. The trails at Canyonlands are a good example, connecting with Mt. Lakeway Trail which connects with Serene Hills Trail which connects with Falconhead Primitive Trails. At the top you will have a 360 degree view that you can admire while stamping into this box.
Directions:
Go west on Lakeway Blvd, left on Hills Dr, then right on Trophy Dr to Canyonlands trailhead on the left. Park along the street.
Clues:
Walk on the trail for 0.25 mile to jct near a metal tower and go right on the High Trail to jct with the Rim Trail. Continue straight on the Canyon Trail as it bends left past marker #7 and goes down to jct with the Pond Trail. Continue straight past marker #8 and cross bridge to another jct with the Pond Trail. Continue straight on Canyon Trail, staying right at power lines, past marker #9 to jct with Mt. Lakeway Trail. Go left on it, crossing a gravel road under power lines, then another one by perpendicular power lines, then a third one before descending and crossing a creek. Cross another gravel road while ascending more steeply up the trail, following the power lines up to the wooden cross at the top. From cross go southeast 12 steps to barbed-wire fence, then left 10 steps to large rock under fence just past cactus. LB is in hole on top of rock under another rock. Be sure to cover the box with the rock.
Hike length: 5-8 miles
Recommended Ink: brown
